Structures
Most of our homes are owner built. We focus on using recycled and local renewable resources. House sizes are limited by each household's wood allotment (5 cords/year)

Gerhard's House
Gerhard has added several additions to his home over the years, as well as the summer kitchen seen on the left
Janine's House
This was the original home site of the community when it first formed more than 30 years ago before becoming a cooperative. Two railway cars side by side have been renovated and expanded over the years
Community Centre and Summer Kitchen
During June to September, those community members and guests interested share the evening meal with each member participant rotating cooking responsibilities. The Centre is used for member meetings and workshop space as well.
Colleen and Murray's House
This is a straw bale and cob construction home that Colleen and Murray completed two years ago. A number of community members helped with the construction and Gerhard did the design
Mike and Deb's House
Guest House
The Guest House was completed in the fall of 2012 with the help of an Assiniboine Credit Union community grant. It provides an opportunity for prospective co-op members to experience living out at the Farm over the winter months
